Info
Inclined sites can inspire architectural possibilities that are simply unattainable on flat terrains. This house, located in Poggio Pertuso, enjoys an enviable position above the Feniglia Beach, with pedestrian access to the shore. Spread across three levels, each floor offers spectacular views of the sea and the surrounding macchia landscape.
In designing the interior layout, we prioritized a continuous flow with varying heights and nested rooms, preserving the playful essence of the building’s architecture. Our goal was to enhance the house's structural elements by exposing the wooden beams and contrasting them against a neutral color palette on the walls and furniture. The classic lines of the interior furnishings and the indirect lighting scheme create a cohesive design thread throughout the home.
The lower ground and main floors are dedicated to communal spaces, featuring a spacious living and reading area, a dining room, and a cozy fireplace. The top floor houses the majority of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Across the middle and upper floors, various terraces of different sizes and shapes provide unique outdoor spaces, while the lower ground level boasts a magnificent terrace that wraps around the entire house.
